Before you start
Nagi Clicker needs two permissions. The welcome guide takes you through both; you can also turn them on from the card on the home list or from Settings → Permissions.
| Accessibility | Lets the app perform taps and swipes. In Android's Accessibility settings, find Nagi Clicker in the list and turn it on. Android does not let apps open this switch directly. |
|---|---|
| Display over other apps | Shows the control panel and the tap points on top of the app you automate. |
If Android stops the app (for example with "Force stop"), it may turn Accessibility off. Turn it on again the same way.
Your first automation
- On the home list, press New and choose Steps (or Rapid tap for one point).
- The panel appears over your home screen. Open the app you want to automate.
- Press + and tap where you want a point. Add as many as you like.
- Drag a point to adjust it. Tap a point to change its wait and more.
- Press the dashed ▶ to preview, then ▶ to run.
- Press the save button and give it a name to use it again.
Not sure what a button does? Settings → How to use it explains every button on the panel.
Taps, long presses and swipes
- Tap: +, then tap the spot.
- Long press: tap a point and switch it to Long press, then set how long to hold.
- Swipe: press the swipe button and trace from the start to the end. Curves are kept as you draw them. Tap the line to set the swipe time or draw it again.
- Each step has its own Wait before the next step.
Dropping the bar on a point moves it to the nearest free spot, so it never covers a tap.
Record your touches
Press the red record button, then use the app as usual. Your taps and swipes become steps, with the waits between them. Press Stop on the small recording pill to finish. You can adjust the recorded steps like any others.
Rapid tap
Choose New → Rapid tap. Place one point and set the interval — as short as 0.05 seconds (about 20 taps a second). Repeat count, start delay and time limit work the same as for steps.
The step list
The list button on the panel shows every step in order. There you can:
- drag the handle to reorder steps
- turn a step off for now (it stays, but is skipped)
- duplicate or delete a step
- change all waits at once
The eye button hides the points so you can see the app underneath.
Preview, run, pause and stop
- Preview (dashed ▶) shows the order and places once, without tapping.
- ▶ starts after a short countdown. The panel turns into a small bar showing the step, the loop and the time left.
- Pause and Stop are always on the bar, even when it is folded.
- When a run ends, a notice says whether it completed or why it stopped, so you can tell even if you were away.
Run settings
Press the gear on the panel, or open the automation from the home list and edit its Run settings.
| Repeat | A number of times (up to 999,999) or infinite. |
|---|---|
| Start after | A countdown before the first step, 0 to 60 seconds. |
| Stop after | Stop after a running time, up to 24 hours. Pauses are not counted. |
| Randomize | Moves each tap a little around the point, and varies each wait a little. |
| Show the tap ring while running | Turn off to hide the rings, for example in screen recordings. Previews always show them. |
| When opened from its shortcut | Wait for ▶, or start right away. See shortcuts. |
| Keep running when the app changes | Advanced, at your own risk: the run goes on when another app comes to the front. It still stops on Nagi Clicker's own screens. |
Save and open again
- The first save asks for a name; after that, changes are saved by themselves.
- The home list shows your saved automations. Press Open to load one into the panel; if it has a target app, that app opens first.
- Drag the handle on the right of a row to reorder the list. Editing an automation never moves it; new ones go to the end.
- The ⋮ menu has Rename, Duplicate, Export, Add to home screen and Delete.
- The home button on the panel closes the panel and brings you back to this list. The ✕ only closes the panel.
Home screen shortcuts
⋮ → Add to home screen puts an automation on your home screen as an icon. What the icon does is set per automation, in When opened from its shortcut:
- Show the panel and wait (default): opens the target app with the panel loaded. Press ▶ when you are ready — handy for games that take a while to load.
- Start right away: opens the target app and starts after the countdown.
Export, import and backup
Export one automation from its ⋮ menu, or all of them from Settings → Export all. Import from New → Import from a file or Settings. If your phone's backup is on, automations also move to a new phone with your Google account.
When a run stops by itself
To avoid tapping the wrong thing, a run stops when:
- another app comes to the front (including the home screen and notifications)
- the screen turns off or locks, rotates, or changes size
- Accessibility is turned off or disconnects
- Nagi Clicker's own screen comes to the front
An automation made in portrait runs in portrait (and the same for landscape). Turn the phone back and start again.
Ads and removing them
- Ads appear as a banner on the app's own screens and when you open the app, at most once every five minutes — never in the panel or during a run.
- Settings → Watch an ad for 3 hours without ads.
- Settings → Remove ads: a one-time purchase through Google Play. It is restored automatically with the same Google account.
